The R-C12BM1 is a modern multimedia system with a capacitive 9 inch / 22.9 cm TFT display, DAB+ and FM tuners, three USB ports and Bluetooth for A2DP music streaming and telephony. With the integrated WLAN module you can go on the web, stream songs and videos directly from the net, e.g. use Spotify or Deezer and listen to internet radio. On the infotainer R-C12BM1, you can also install Android apps directly using the APK installer – so you can choose all the functions you want to use in your BMW E46 yourself.

The media receiver uses an Android 10.0 based operating system, so you can install your Android apps straight on the media center. The R-C12BM1 has a very powerful Quad-Core ARM ® Cortex-A7, 1,3 GHz with 2 GB of RAM memory – so the apps run stably and the operation is smooth. The internal 16 GB flash memory offers enough space for your apps, including your navigation apps.

Navigation system for BMW 3 Series E46
The Android system allows you to install any Android naviagtion app. And for those who don't want to navigate via app only – the BMW E46 car radio comes with the R-MAPC10 navigation package pre-installed and can be unlocked easily with a license code.
On Air: Optimum FM and DAB+ radio reception
You can receive analog radio stations via the integrated FM RDS tuner. The built-in DAB+ tuner has many additional functions, e.g. MOT slideshow, station list and DLS text, and ensures noise-free reception of digital radio programs.
EasyConnection for mobile phones
If you want to use an app like YouTube only temporarily, you can also mirror the screen contents of your Android smartphone to the R-C12BM1 infotainer via EasyConnection and operate it via touchscreen: important for apps that you don't want to install first, but want to use to the full extent immediately. iOS based mobile phones are also supported, but the app control is then done from the iPhone.
